Breakfast at the Golden Tulip

Breakfast at the Golden Tulip is pretty decent. It is not a 5-star deluxe affair, but the food is good, there is a choice of Thai curries, cold platters, vegetables, eggs, sausages, pastries, juices and various types of bread. Nothing to complain about. We eat our breakfast quite early as it is a day of visiting an elephant sanctuary.

Śniadanie w Golden Tulip jest całkiem przyzwoite. Nie jest to żadna ekstrawagancja, ale jedzenie jest dobre, do wyboru są różne rodzaje curry, zimne półmiski, warzywa, jajka, kiełbaski, ciasta, soki i różne rodzaje pieczywa. Nie ma na co narzekać. Śniadanie jemy dzisiaj dość wcześnie, gdyż jest to dzień wizyty w sanktuarium słoni.

Sun rises above Sanctuary of Truth

We get up before the sunrise and move…. to the balcony. This is how lazy people take sunrise pictures! But with the view of Sanctuary of Truth from your windows, it totally makes sense. (We also took some images from the beach…)

Wstajemy przed wschodem słońca i ruszamy…. na balkon. W ten sposób leniwi ludzie robią zdjęcia wschodu słońca! Ale z widokiem na Sanktuarium Prawdy z okna, to nawet ma sens. Kilka zdjec zrobiliśmy także z plaży.

Before we set off to visit the sanctuary, we stop for breakfast at our hotel and it is really pleasant. Now we are ready.

Zanim wyruszymy na zwiedzanie sanktuarium, zatrzymujemy się an (bardzoprzyjemne)śniadanie w naszym hotelu. Teraz już jesteśmy gotowi.

Golden Tulip

After another great breakfast, gym, and some lazy time at the swimming pool we bid our farewell to Conrad and took a Taxi to Pattaya. The first hotel we are staying at here is Golden Tulip Resort, chosen because of its vicinity to the Sanctuary of Truth. Actually, the sanctuary is well visible from the corner room we booked. Here is the first glance at our room before we head off for sunset and dinner at the Horizon.

Po kolejnym wspaniałym śniadaniu, siłowni i lenistwie na basenie pożegnaliśmy się z Conradem i wzięliśmy taksówkę do Pattayi. Pierwszym hotelem, w którym się tu zatrzymaliśmy, jest Golden Tulip Resort, wybrany ze względu na swoje polożenie niedaleko od Sanktuarium Prawdy. Sanktuarium jest zresztą dobrze widoczne z zarezerwowanego przez nas narożnego pokoju. Oto pierwszy rzut oka na nasz pokój, zanim wyruszymy na zachód słońca i kolację w Horizon.

Swimming-pool at Conrad

Yesterday, between our trips to the park, when the day was at its hottest, we decided it was time for a drink and a swim. And we found the swimming-pool on the sixth floor really pleasant. This late afternoon we are back to cool down and relax, and we stay until the lights are on. It is quite empty, too, which is a big bonus.

Wczoraj, między wycieczkami do parku, w najgorętszą porę dnia, zdecydowaliśmy, że jest to idealny moment na drinka i ochłodzenie się w wodzie. Basen na szóstym piętrze okazał się naprawdę przyjemny. Zatem dzisiaj późnym popołudniem wróciliśmy, żeby się zrelaksować i potaplać w wodzie, i zostaliśmy, aż zapaliły się wieczorne światła. Bonus: na basenie było bardzo pusto, może ze dwie osoby oprócz nas.

Breakfast at Conrad

Breakfast time! And Conrad does not disappoint. There is a great selection of delicious meals and the waffles, the waffles are to die for. Plus, they do the best hot chocolate ever, it is only a little bit sweet, thick and lovely.

Czas na śniadanie! I pod tym względem Conrad nie zawodzi. Jest duży wybór naprawdę pysznych dań a gofry są po prostu rewelacyjne. Poza tym robią tu najlepszą gorącą czekoladę na świecie, jest tylko trochę słodka, gęsta i przepyszna.
